The software comes with a large number of different tools that make it possible to set different parameters and record data in next to no time. Once the data has been recorded, educators can then make copies or share the database at the touch of a button, which promises to save a lot of time and trouble in the long run.

I've owned the license for Easy Grade Pro for many years. I don't know my license number so I can't set up my download on my new computer. Is there any way to pay for a license now for Easy Grade Pro
Easy Grade Pro (EGP) is a cross-platform gradebook application for teachers to keep their students' grades, print progress reports, manage class rosters, create seating charts, and all other aspects of running a classroom. Assignments can be added to categories and overall grade are calculated.
To use Easy Grade Pro with School Loop, you must have version 4.0 or 4.1. It is also important to note that you must start a new gradebook following the directions here. If you attempt to use a previously created gradebook, you will not be successful. Be sure to follow the steps outlined on the Partner Gradebook page to switch from the School Loop Gradebook to Easy Grade Pro.
When new students enroll in your class and appear on your School Loop roster, you can update your Easy Grade Pro gradebook by following the same steps you used to import rosters initially but instead of creating a new class with the updated roster, choose your Current Class.
3. Click the arrow next to a student's name to see details including a link to the Full Progress Report. The full progress report will show the assignments and grades you have imported for that student.
Note: Only the most recently published progress report will available for students and parents. School Loop does not keep a record of older progress reports or grades when using a partner gradebook. Remember to back up your gradebook!
If you use Standards-based grading in Easy Grade Pro, that's no problem. Just export from EGP and import into School Loop as instructed above and our system will automatically format the progress report to display your standard grades.
I don't use any other features, just as a standalone; the other problem (and solution) relating to online grade / email features -- sounds like EdLine's support knows about EGP's importance for end users pretty well . . . hopefully for others it continues to maintain / improve.
I placed an upgrade order for 4.1 in the first week of July and it just arrived this morning. I don't have Lion installed, but System Profiler DOES list Easy Grade Pro 4.1 as a universal binary (32 bit) and the 4.1 manual stated that you no longer need Rosetta.
I did a quick test and disabled Rosetta under Snow Leopard and EGP 4.1 launched just fine (EGP 4.0 prompted me to install Rosetta). If you were waiting on this program to make the jump to Lion, get the EGP upgrade. It ships via FedEx Ground.
Hmmm ... I didn't know 4.1 existed either (how often do we actually need to upgrade). Well, I just called for an upgrade disk yesterday; it's only 18 clams, plus 10 to ship. Pretty funny how it is the same cost as Lion. However, this gradebook software has been our favorite for 10 years, and trumps the inferior quality our district provides with its web-based version ... Agreed EdLine (merged with Orbissoft) should update their webpage. I'll post back next week when the disk arrives, I guess.
EGP 4.1 is a Universal application, though we have not tested on 10.7, we do not anticipate any issues. 4.1 is now available on CD. Upgrade CDs are available at a discounted cost of $18 plus shipping for registered users and can be ordered by contacting sales at 800-491-0010.
Again, I put in my upgrade order, and will test and respond here to share impressions how it works w/ Lion (btw . . . I only installed Lion as a \"test\" on our MacBook Pro, which is kind of a sattelite computer for our household. The only big issue for us -- 2 teachers -- is EGP right now . . . our iMac, the main computer, still runs Snow Leopard because of this.)
Okay, I bit the bullet and got the downloadable version of 4.1. I haven't tried it on Lion yet (I still have to clean up a couple of thousand files that only MS Word 2004 will read!), but I've come across one major deficiency compared to 4.0.
They informed me just last week that the 4.1 version is downloadable through esellerate but with no discount for upgrading, and they charge a fee for downloading the application as well! I had no choice since I am not living in the US, and my EGP is useless as I am in the middle of a teaching semester, so I had to bite the bullet.
This news would probably have been sufficient induce me to upgrade. Unfortunately, thanks to the tanking economy, my contract for the fall has not been renewed, so I'll have to wait until I have a job again before buying it. It won't do me any good if I'm flippin' burgers.
Easy Grade Pro is the digital version of the vintage teacher's workbook. It is an electronic grade book used to keep student information for all classes and subjects. It has a lot of tools to help teachers save time and even allows them to create professional report.
So I decided to have a meeting in London a few months ago with @sophossecurity and it literally blew my mind. They showed me how easy it is for cyber criminals to hack you - but also how easy it is to stop those trying to get to you.
