- The controls Any farming simulator needs good controls. After all, the game is about controlling a tractor. Failing to do so will be very frustrating and will affect the game. Farming Simulator 2011 is certainly no exception to this, and the controls can be rather fiddly and cumbersome. Fiddling with the controls is something that you need to accustom yourself to as you progress through the game as there is nothing else like it on the market today, and the controls will take a little practise before you can master them.
- The driving You are likely to be driving a tractor for the majority of the time you are in the game. Driving the tractor is great fun, but Farming Simulator 2011 lacks the finesse you need to excel at driving the tractor. The game really doesn't allow you to drive a tractor to great effect, and if you fail to drive the tractor precisely, then you are likely to become lost for a time until you can find the correct route back to where you should be.
- The equipment Again, this is a game about farming, and the equipment you need is likely to be included in the game. The game has about 12 pieces of equipment, and we would wager that not all of them will be useful to you. In fact, we would wager that not all of them will be usable in the game. That is not to say that you will not be able to use them to prove your farming expertise, but we would also wager that you will not be able to make any great use of them in the game.
- The presentation and sound The game can look terrible at times; it is far too busy and the objects are too grainy and fuzzy. It is even possible to get the tractor to seem like it is stuck in mud, and this is only the beginning of the bugs and glitches that can happen in the game.
First of all, the game has a very limited amount of content. On the surface, the game appears to be very complete, but beyond a few of the basic tutorials and a handful of tutorials per map, the rest is quite limited. Maps are very small, often to the point of being basic hexagons in some cases. It just seems odd that everything looks so good, when the content is so small. Add to this that FARMing simulator 2011 is not a multi player game, so you are very limited in what you can really do. Farming Simulator 2011 does have the capability of trading between your multiplayer accounts, but it does so by downloading a single game file, which isn't very user friendly and can be very time consuming, especially if you use a firewall. Then we are forced to use the key-logger which is kind of a deal breaker as far as we are concerned. 827ec27edc
