Thanks to all the great chatters for the suggestions, I have been working in a fix the last 12 hours on this bad boy. I just am unable to get everything to balance. For instance, the LT I pulled out of the cabinet for Bass is set to 1.5 punch (-3db), I would have a resting level on my head, perhaps 50/50 headshells on my head with the bias pulled from the RT. That would give a level of 3.0 dB. Would the RT level be pulling the input bias in the LT or the REFX? With any other settings than that, I get very strange results on the bass, and I am not sure how to truly change this unit to where it sounds as close to the 1073 as possible. I am attempting to follow Dave's instructions to hell of a degree, which is easy as only that is it's purpose, to be emulated.
I hate to post a question after the fact but it has been a bit of a nightmare trying to simply balance the SoundDesigner LT and the RT and the REFX. It seems like I am going in circles. Perhaps if I knew what the numbers were I would be ok with it. What is le in a value of two or 3.0 dB? I can't seem to get at it. I just don't get it. I have tried and occupied myself for several days trying to correct this level but can not. I have been on this 1000 other pedals lately and will try to post these but will do this first. Sorry I just hate to bother you with the question, please try to understand I really am trying here.
I'd like to thank the admins/staff for an outstanding job here at fAudio. Perhaps if we spent a whole lot more time listening to each other and supporting each other, the outcome would be more completely satisfying, maybe?
simply not understanding this pedal, too many knobs and too many bells/whistles will always mean no simple answer. I think it's becoming fun, when I start to goof it up, it seems to work just fine. d2c66b5586
